ETFE MEMBRANE ROOF SYSTEM

This project is part of the Guangzhou Macau Cooperation Zhuhai Hengqin Traditional Chinese Medicine Industrial Park project. The eaves of the membrane structure are 22 meters high, and the steel structure is made of elliptical customized steel pipes. The structure consists of six petals; The membrane material adopts German imported NOWOFOL frosted ETFE membrane material, with a simple structure and perfect shape, which is the finishing touch of the entire traditional Chinese medicine industry park.

The project adopts a hybrid structure combining ETFE membrane, cable, and customized elliptical steel frame. The six-petal design forms a lightweight, large-span roof, reducing structural weight and foundation loads while enhancing overall aesthetics.
Membrane (ETFE)
The roof uses ETFE membrane with high light transmission, UV resistance, and durability. Its frosted surface delivers soft, diffused daylight and excellent self-cleaning performance.
Cable System
