Dushanbe National Stadium Landscape Bridge Program
The Bridge of Romance is one of five landscape bridges surrounding the National Stadium in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. The landscape bridge program was developed as an integrated design concept, with each bridge given its own architectural language while contributing to a coherent visual environment around the stadium.
The Bridge of Romance is a new-build structure. Civil construction was delivered by the client, while PFM was responsible for the decorative structure package and lighting scheme, including design development, detailed modelling, fabrication coordination and lighting integration.

The bridge's design resembles a blooming flower. Dushanbe is a romantic city filled with blossoms, and the unfolding flower motif symbolizes the city's growth and the warmth of its people.
